Madeline’s passion for animals began at a young age and has grown into a lifelong career dedicated to their care, training, and well-being. Raised around a wide variety of animals—including dogs, cats, horses, and small pets—she developed a deep understanding of animal behavior early on and knew she was meant to work hands-on with them.
She began her professional journey in a veterinary clinic, caring for boarding and sick animals, where she built a strong foundation in animal health and handling. After graduating, Madeline worked as a dairy farmer, managing calves and milking operations alongside her trusted Australian Cattle Dog. She later expanded her experience as a veterinary technician, working with both large and small animals in clinical settings.
Her true passion for dog training took shape when she welcomed her Boxer, Zeus, into her life. This led her into the world of conformation, where she spent 15 years raising, training, and successfully showing AKC and UKC Boxers. Through this experience, she developed a keen eye for canine behavior, structure, and effective training techniques.
Following a serious injury that temporarily sidelined her from physically demanding work, Madeline discovered professional dog training—and quickly realized it was exactly where she belonged. Today, she is dedicated to helping dogs and their owners build clear communication, trust, and lasting relationships.
Madeline works with dogs of all breeds, ages, and temperaments. She has extensive experience with behavioral challenges, including reactivity and aggression, and is committed to creating customized training plans that meet each dog and owner where they are.
Her approach focuses on structure, consistency, and fairness, helping dogs gain confidence while giving owners the tools they need for long-term success.
At home, Madeline continues to live the lifestyle she teaches. She shares her life with her two dogs, Skye (an Australian Cattle Dog) and Eclipse (a mixed breed), along with her cats Apolla and Yoshi, and a variety of other animals including a hamster, tortoise, snake, chickens, ducks, and a goose. These animals are not only part of her everyday life, but also play an important role in her training—providing real-world distractions that help dogs learn to stay focused and responsive in a variety of environments.
